About

Back in 1996 while going to college in Arizona, my uncle approached me about doing a web site and offering web site design services along with web hosting services.  We started a little business called USA Web Services, and we offered web site design and hosting services.

As the industry started to grow that year I decided that design would become easier for people to do on their own with tools like net objects fusion and wanted to branch off and do mostly web hosting.  So, I did.  I registered a company called Cyber World Internet Services, and got the domain cwiservices.com.  The company started off using Windows NT Servers, and we were one of the first web hosts to offer IIS as a hosting platform.  We were also one of the first hosts to offer FrontPage extensions and be registered with Microsoft as a FrontPage provider.

After many years of success in the shared hosting world we decided to branch off and offer Dedicated Servers and  Reseller Hosting Accounts.  We developed CWIPanel a control panel for Windows servers.  In 2003 we changed our name from Cyber World Internet to E-Insites because of the many negative connotation comments we got back then about the term “Cyber World”.

Ever since then E-Insites has been doing well in the hosting world and I have since lessened my role with the companies day to day tasks.  It was hard giving up control, but as with all business ventures one guy cannot do it all ☺.

So now my new obsession is blogging.  We will see how that works out.
